I purchased the PM Exam Simulator after a few unsuccessful trials with free simulators across the web. I used the simulator daily, doing around 120 questions a day for a month. I also did three full-length timed practice exams.
After studying, I passed the PMP test.

I would recommend the simulator as it helps getting into the mindset and type of questions you will encounter on the real exam.

On October 26th, 2016 I finally passed the PMP Exam after the third attempt by using the PM Simulator this time around.  This system provided me a very realistic measurable and set a target to see progresses.  After I purchased the PM Exam Simulator and started to go through 1800 questions...which is a lot of questions... made me realized the importance of getting used to with the similar questions that I may counter very similar questions on the day of the exam.  I definitely learned what kind of questions are expected on the exam day after going through all 1800 questions.  Actually, my PMP exam result was 3MP and 2P which was also the results I got toward the end of 1800 questions.  So if anyone who can go through the PM Simulator can be encouraged and assured to know how realistic those questions are!  If you start getting all areas with MP, I bet you will pass the exam.  Also, the PM Exam Simulator was very economical to try out.  Many other organization published 1/9 of this cost almost the same.

I searched on the website for good PMP exam simulations but I couldn't find any other PMP consultants sell 1800 questions other than this PM Exam Simulators issued by OSP International LLC.  With the PM Exam Simulator, I could pace myself to take time each question until I really got it under "Learning" mode rather than "Time" mode to rush through questions.  Actually I never used the "Time" mode until I started to take a 200 simulation questions.  Also it helped me focusing on my weak areas as the PMP Exam Simulator identified in the knowledge area and processes until I really got it. 

Thank you so much for the valuable study materials that OSP prepared for those PMP wannabe!!!   Be patient and diligent to take the 1800 questions, you will be rewarded for sure like I was!!!

Passed my PMP Examination first attempt on 24-September-2016. I used the PMBOK Guide Fifth Edition + Rita Mulcahy Eight Edition + PM Exam Simulator. I went through all the tests on the PM Exam Simulator and did numerous timed quizzes. The PMP examination has the same format as the PM Exam Simulator though the examination is a lot more situational and more difficult than the simulator. So on examination day, I felt like I was in my living room going through a very difficult test on the simulator!
I'll say kudos for the simulator, great practice tool. However it'll be good to notch up the difficulty of the tests.

I am very happy that I have acquired the course at PMPrepCast. Mr Fichtner has a good approach. The questionnaires and the different modes I liked the best. You can simulate the real four-hour test, you can focus on your own weaknesses, or simply take a test for intermediate. Really great!

There are so many questions available that it gave me practice on a variety of approaches to each topic and scenario.  It can be overwhelming to consider how many questions are available in the question bank, but I was able to run many practice (learning) test questions and also completed 7 of the full 10 practice exams.  My scores were typically between 60% - 85% and I was learning all the time.  Thank you for such a comprehensive resource, it was worth every penny and helped me pass!!

As with many others who have given their testimonials, I cannot stress enough the need to answer AS MANY QUESTIONS as you humanly can, prior to taking the exam. For this use, the PM Exam Simulator lived up to the my needs and expectations. 

Just to give some background, my three-month journey to the PMP exam included one identified and one previously-unknown risk: the birth of my first child (known: timing was pretty certain but impact to review sched was not) and a sudden need to reprioritize country deployments to a regional implementation I was working on (happened suddenly due to company factors + high impact as I had to work beyond my usual working hours to re-formulate the project schedule). 

Both happened right smack in the middle of the three months. I had just finished with the PM Prepcast, and was starting to do my (re-)reviews and simulated exams. I started out with 69% at the Initial Assessment in the prepcast, so I targeted to reach 80%+ before I would schedule my exam date (milestone: hit 80%+, schedule the exam for the next month). 

My tactic was not to do 200-question simulators every time, as I had to pause intermittently to help with our newborn's eat-burp-sleep-diaper cycle, and I still had my day job. What I did was utilize the LEARNING QUIZZES, with 100 questions each. This gem of a feature allowed me to take each quiz at my own pace, and partnered with the option to see the correct answer afterwards, allowed me to build on "how to think like a pmp", versus just memorizing terms. I appreciated how the answers were explained extensively, plus a reference to the PMBOK Guide page where I could find the actual info!

The learning quiz mode would allow me to also continue where I left off, in case I had to stop in the middle of a quiz. I could even move from mobile to laptop, and vice versa! A few times, I'd even do the quizzes while carrying my kid (double-arm carry with free hand on smartphone- for pro dads only!)

Aside from the usability of the simulator, the questions themselves really helped prep me for how the actual exam would phrase the questions. There were so many "what should the PM do next?" type of questions where, if I hadn't encountered it before, I probably would have chosen "second best" (read:"incorrect") answers. 

I probably answered around 1,200 questions in total. 

My results in the PMP exam: 4P's (Proficient) and 1MP (Moderately Proficient). 

Tip: as you aporoach the end of your review (get closer to your exam date), utilize the feature in the Quizzes to use "questions which I haven't answered" or "questions that I answered incorrectly" and make full use of the question library.

Prepcast Simulator is good and it helping me to find out my strength and weakness of the knowledge area. It has been my observation 10% of Prepcast questions coming from other source like Wikepida and PM related stuff not from direct PMBOK. Questions are really challenging and situational to find the gaps in terms of knowledge and process group.

I passed the PMP exam last week on the first attempt, and I know the PMP Exam Simulator was a key to preparing me for the exam. Starting at about six month prior to the exam, I read the entire PMBOK and took extensive notes. After studying my notes for a few weeks, I began taking the simulator quizzes. By reviewing the answers, I was able to focus on my weak areas and it confirmed my stronger areas. As I felt more comfortable with the material and passed the quizzes, I developed a study plan to take a different four-hour simulated exam each weekend for the six weeks prior to the actual exam. By passing the simulated exams, improving my score each week and reviewing my right and wrong answers on each test, it gave me the confidence to take the exam and pass it. It was  very good experience and after two week entexsive trails, I have passed my PMP exam. Everything is good with this software and I would request you to put an option of breaking the exams as at home staying 4 hours continuously during practicing would not be easy. Currently if you stop after 100 questions, you can not resume with balance 100 questions as they get shuffled.

The PM Exam Simulator definitely played a pivotal role in preparing me for my PMP exam. I had a very solid study plan, but in my research the consensus was that you need to get into “exam mode” with a simulator. I took that advice and after seeing some reviews, I purchased the PM Exam Simulator. The explanations for the answers were very useful and helped me fill in my gaps and increase my confidence leading up to the exam. Make sure you review ALL answers, not just for the ones you missed. I was afraid that the actual exam would be more difficult than the simulator, but it really was right in line for difficulty level. My lowest score on the simulations was 81.5%, with highest 91% for reference. My Domain averages were 87% Initiating, 83% Planning, 84% Executing, 87% Monitoring & Controlling, 87% Closing. I ended up passing with 4Ps and MP in Closing. 

Bottom line: If you consider how much a re-test costs, the decision to invest in a simulator should be very easy.

The PM Exam Simulator was extremely helpful for me to gauge whether or not I was ready to take the exam. I started taking the simulator exams after I read the PMBOK twice with my study guide: How to pass the PMP on your first try by Andy Crowe. I studied for abotu a year but extensively for the last 3 months. I took 4 simulator exams, my worst grade was a 71% and my best was a 90%. The questions asked were very similar to the actual exam. The first simulator test I took, I went over my time limit by about 20 minutes. By the time I took my last simulator exam, I had about 30 minutes to spare. This was the same result when I took the actual exam, I had about 15 minutes to spare. I passed the exam with 2 Proficents and 3 Moderately Proficents. I highly recommend the PM Exam Simulator.

I've purchased PM Exam Simulator because it was obvious that without real time exam practicing it might be very tough to pass the exam. Multiple questions, time restriction and emotional pressure could have negatively impacted me having caused to fail should I not get well prepared myself to future exam conditions. Fortunately it not only PM Exam Simulator design looked as real exam PC window, but which is even more important, the structure and content of the questions was realistically replicating the questions I have to answer during my PMP exam. The PM Exam Simulator had some very useful features and I am sure it helped me pass the exam on the first try.  The results by Knowledge Area and Domain helped me focus on the sections where I scored the lowest. However, the scores I received taking the 4 hour practice exams did not match the percent scores on the actual test.  I took the 4 practice exams and a lot of short quizes.  On my 4th exam I was 90% on the Monitoring & Controling knowledge area, however, on the actual exam while I did pass I scored a "Below Proficient" in the Monitoriing & Controling Domain.  I would still recommend the PM Exam Simulator as the main study tool and would encourage everyone to take full advantage of the 9 practice exams.  If I had to do the studying all over again I would concentrate on the practice exam "results" and read the sections indicated for the questions missed.

I found the PM Exam Simulator very helpful in passing the PMP exam. I had tested several different companies versions from online web based tools to PMP study apps for the iPhone and iPad -- nothing else compared in quality of questions or quality of product. I am not a great test taker and have struggled in the past on exams like this. In my studies using various PMP exam prep tools I did not feel these practice exams would prepare me for the difficulty the actual exam would present. I purchased the basic PMP exam package -- after I took my first practice exam my fears were correct, I noticed immediately how unprepared i was for the challenging questions on the actual exam. After a month of practice exams with the PM simulator I took the PMP exam and passed all sections with above proficiency. I purchased the PM Exam Simulator as I have always found the best way for me to prepare for any exam(including PMP exam) was to tackle as many exam questions as possible. This was true for the PMP exam as well. While I had read and believed I had understood the knowledge areas, domains, and processes, practicing with the PM Simulator validated my true comprehension of everything I needed to know for the exam. The fact that the Simulator provided explanations for the answers to all the questions helped cement my understanding and provided the confidence I needed to tackle and provide the appropriate solutions for any questions presented to me. I liked the fact too that the PM Simulator broke down the exam summary by knowledge areas and domain so I could track my points of weaknesses accordingly. All in all, after studying the exam materials, I spent most of my time on the Simulator -- tackling approximately one exam per day, so about 4-5 hours or so of study. I prepared very well in all simulator exams and used to score close to 70% in all the 9 simulator exams and along with that I prepared HEADFAST and other online exams also.

However I failed in the exam and to my surprise, the questions I got in the exam were very tuff and not even a single question about ethics.

 

I am very much demotivaed now and not sure if I can apply for the exam again.

Please guide me to come out of this mental trauma and prepare again.

After revieiwing the material in the PMBOK guide a number of times I proceeded to use the PM Simulator as my only method of study. I did 20 questions at a time from each knowledge area and then phase and then reviewed my strengths and weeknesses summary and focussed my elarning on my bottom 3. I did this iteratively and kept working my bottom 3 which was continuosly changing. After around 600 questions I was ready to pass.

This is my summary of my work with PMP exam preps, which I passed successfully on first try, much thanks to the PMP Exam Simulator! I put in a total of 240h across 2m calendar time:

·         Wenell PMP prep kurs:    32h

o   Course over 3d with coach from Wenell company in Sweden.

      Preparations:   18h

o   PMI membership, applications and more

·         Studies:   100h

o   Made a study plan directly when I started (based on recomeendations that I got) and this helped me much during my studies.

o   During my studies I all the time mixed working with the PMP exam simulator with theory sessions. more questions, more theory... I did this until I was in the range of 80-85% correct questions on the test questions. Here is what I read during my studies:

Read the PMBOK Guide 2 times

§  Read the book ”How to Pass on First Try” by Andy Crowe 2 times

§  Read Wenell prep course material 2 times

§  Rehersed with Flashcards by Andy Crowe 2 times

§  E-Learning study on my tablet 2 times:   Ace the PMP Exam by Jack Risos

·         Exam simulators:   90h

o   Insite Velociteach e-Learning:

§  47 questions according Insite Velociteach e-Learning:   66%

o   The book ”How to Pass on First Try” av Andy Crowe:

§  235 questions:   68%

§  200 FINAL EXAM questions ”How to Pass on First Try” av Andy Crowe:   82%

o   PM exam simulator online http://www.pm-exam-simulator.com/ by Cornelius Richter (test questions which I think were slightly harder then the real exam):

§  920 questions in time order:   70%, 71%, 73%, 73%, 76%, 84%, 79%, 82%, 79%, 80%

o   Test principle:

§  All the time tried to answer the questions under time pressure, this in order to be better prepared for the exam day.

§  The week before the exam I ran a fully time pressured session over 4h. Spent first 15m with writing down all the 47 processes from memory, plus all the main formulas, plus 200 random questions during 4h time. This was good for getting into the "exam" mode. I was also careful to run this test exam in exactly the same time of the day as on the real exam day. in my case starting at 1230. It was tougher than I thought to sit down and focus this long time, but it was a necessary test for me. I even had time for a 5m break.

o   Evaluation:

§  For every question that I answered incorrectly, I was careful to go through afterwards and understand WHY I failed the question. This taught me a lot and made me more complete.

§  After each simulator test I evaluated my results, and then studied my "weak" areas.

o   My results:

§  The mean across all the 1402 questions that I went through (1st pass try):   75%

§  Felt ready to take the exam 2016-05-26 after establishin myself at 81% on average on the last 420 questions that I took just before the exam.

I passed my PMP on April 8, 2016 and practically throughout my PMP preparation, I used the PM Simulator. It is an excellent tool that gives the truth on your level and that put you in the real conditions of the exam.

I really enjoyed my experience with this tool I highly recommend it.

Positives:

Good mix of questions covering all processes. Excellent wordy questions which would help us see through how to tackle lengthy+tricky questions. Very good customer support even during the trial period.

Area of improvement:

No option to load only the questions that have been unanswered on quizzes. have to go through a mix of answered and unanswered. For example you have answered about 1000 questions and want to test your progress in terms of 'first attempt only' & want to load only 50 unanswered questions--feature not available. WOuld be good to add that feature as it would help with preparation
